The Last Time . . .

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (Jesus, John 14:15)

  10. When was the last time you thanked God for being able to taste food? To see color? To create?
  11. When was the last time you thanked someone for being an inspiration and a blessing to you?
  12. When was the last time you thanked someone for being the shoulder you cried on? Patient while you cried? Praying with you during a rough time? Challenging you? Rebuking you? Encouraging you?
  13. When was the last time you thanked the person who bought your lunch? Dinner? Helped with bills? Gave you a ride?
  14. When was the last time you’ve assisted someone financially, expecting nothing in return, but out of love for that person and the glory of Christ?
  15. When was the last time you sacrificed time to help others in some way?
  16. When was the last time you opened your home to a brother / sister in Christ?
  17. When was the last time you shared the gospel with someone?
  18. When was the last time you’ve confessed sin to a brother / sister in the faith?
  19. When was the last time you’ve extended grace and mercy to a brother or sister that has wronged you?
  20. When was the last time you’ve prayed for and done good to your enemies?
  21. When was the last time you’ve been silent before your God and meditated on His holiness and perfections?

May our love for Christ continue to grow that our lives would be conformed to His commands, which are not burdensome, but delightful.

Grace & Peace,
